We scan all slides that are in the standard 2” (51mm) square mount. Our professional scanners are set to scan at 3200ppi (optical) to get the most detail from your slides. For a 35mm slide this equates to a 12 Megapixel Image (4190 x 2810 pixels)* This high resolution transfer allows you to easily zoom in and crop out unwanted scenery and still achieve a sharp detailed image. • All our scans are 2 pass this doubles our scanning time but produces a superior result. The second scan is an Infra-Red scan which picks ups scratches and blemishes on the slide. • We DO NOT use “Digital Ice” for scratch removal which produces an inferior result. • Our scanners have Auto Enhancement Disabled to ensure the purest image possible. • Our Slide scanners can handle all slide image dimensions unlike many companies who use a 35mm scanner and have no choice but to crop the tops and bottom off some slide formats. • Images are supplied in JPG format on a USB key. • We can also make fantastic High definition slideshows from your digital images. (Images can also be supplied in Tiff format or supplied on a disc extra costs may apply)   *(pixels vary slightly depending on slide mount).
